The secret to unraveling embroidery? The right fabric. Many people think the needle does all the work, but the truth is that without the right fabric, even the best punch needle won't work. This cut of Monk's Cloth was specifically selected by me to ensure maximum hold, even if you're a beginner.

Why this is the "Lifesaver" fabric for your projects:

  • Indestructible and "Mistake-Forgiving": Unlike pure linen or cotton, which can tear, this special blend (35% cotton, 65% polyester) is stretchy and durable. Missed a stitch? Pull the thread, scratch the fabric with your fingernail, and the holes magically close up. You can start over again!

  • Exceptional Grip: Its open yet sturdy weave "hugs" the wool and holds it in place. No more loops slipping off while you work.

  • The Perfect Format: With a 60x60 cm cut you have the freedom to create a beautiful square cushion, a bag, or cut it to make 3 or 4 small pictures or coasters.

Compatibility (Read carefully here!): This fabric is the soul mate of medium-large needles.

  • ✅ PERFECT FOR: Oxford Regular Needles (all sizes), Adjustable Lavor 3mm, 4mm and 5.5mm.

  • ❌ NOT SUITABLE FOR: Very fine needles (such as the Lavor Fine with the small 2mm and 2.5mm points) because the weft would be too wide for the thin thread.

  • Color: Off-white (natural, makes all colors pop).

  • Composition: Cotton/Polyester blend for maximum durability.

Expert Tip: To work well, this fabric needs to be as taut as a drum ! Make sure to mount it on a sturdy hoop or non-slip embroidery hoop. If the fabric "sounds" when you tap it, you're ready to embroider!
